Phoenix: He watched the girl from district Four shoot, taking out nearly all of the dummies, and a shiver went down his spine. Why in the world would kids have to do this kind of stuff? He shrugged to himself, put on his best smile, and walked over to her, sure to stay clear opf her bow. "Hi," he said cheerfully. "I'm Phoenix. You're really good at this."

Deina: She looked around, tense, then headed over to fishing. She had no idea how to fish. She kept looking over her shoulder, as if someone would jump out at her this very second.

Donald smirked at the angered guy in front of him, "Oh why talk when we can just fight." He took a last glance around to look at all the others. The district ten girl was small and quick it seemed. She flew up the rope. The district four girl had a wicked shot. Both district two and nine girls where deadly with knives. District three girl wasnt to stong, or it seemed. District one guy was great with spears. The other tributes from those districts flat out sucked. And some of the others he didnt even look at before he turned back and smirked, "Lets see what you have eleven."

(Do we just say, 'Now' or dose one of the actual trainers have to do it?"

Eh, I'm sure either the Game Maker or Kaylan will do it.))

L i l i t h - Her attention was suddenly drawn to a voice behin her, although she did not turn around. Alrigh, she was obviously being less secrtive than she wanted to be."Hello," She spoke bluntly, quickly removing an arrow from the outlined figure sharply. "Thank you.." She trailed off her sentance as she turned around, a few arrows holding between her left arm and spinning a single arrow in her right. "Lilith," She spoke in a short reply.

"Lilith," Phoenix nodded. "Nice to meet you." He looked at the dummies again, and whistled. "Wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of that bow." He laughed slightly, puting his hands in his pockets. "You're the girl from Four, right? You're pretty good at archery. You know, for being from the Fishing department."

L i l i t h -She paused before answering for a moment. 'Nice to meet you'. Sounded funny, seeing as soon either him or I would be dead. "And you," She spoke relcutantly, begining to walk back towards the arrow stand. Placing the arrows back she turned around again. "Yeah, well I never really took kindly to the fish, it's more a natural defense than anything to do with my district." She didn't want to reveal too much, although he seemed friendly enough, she would not take any chances. 

"Fish are odd," Phoenix agreed. "Slimy and spikey. And the eyes..." he shivered, then shrugged. "I know this is a long shot, but would you like to be an alliance?" He looked at her with eyebrows raised, hopeful. "I can do things. Like find places to hide. And I'm pretty good at knife throwing." He picked up a knife from the knife throwing station, which was right next to the archery station, and threw it. It buried itself in one of the dummies' chests, right where it's heart would be.

L i l i t h -Now it was clear what he wanted. With a small and somewhat cunning smirk she turned her head and walked over to the knife station, the place of her other allies. "Hey Clove," She shouted. It was obvious Clove and her district partner were going to dominate the games most of the time, good thing this wasn't her tactic, although Clove and her have become fast friends. "What do you think?" She asked, somewhat mockingly. 

Clove

Clove turned and looked sideways at Lilith. A knife still lay rest in her right hand and as she looked back at Pheonix she threw it over her shoulder, with enough force for it to sink through the center of the bulls eye with ease. She stepped forward and raised her head, taking a breath and tipped it to the side before speaking.

'Im the knife thrower here.' She hissed between her teeth, her mouth barely moving yet her voice harsh and as cold as the south winter wind. 'But... Maybe you could be an... asset..' The cold girl took a few steps forward her mind reeling.

Phoenix backed up. "Nah, it's okay," he said calmly. "It was just a suggestion. In any case, it was nice to meet you, Lilith. Hope you have a very successful day today," he said honestly, before turning and walking over to the edible plants station. Must stay away from the Careers, he made a mental note. They just want to use me then kill me. Whatever. He shrugged and laughed to himself. He was going to make as many friends as possible, even though he was going to die.

L i l i t h -She shook her head, with a small smile. "Later Clove," She smirked and walked off, rufferling her hair back as she did so. It was becoming annoying and got in the way of her vision when aiming. She should cut it before entering the arena. She couldn't afford to make friends, she never really had any, and now the same as all times she was still not willing to make any. She slowly made her way towards the edible plant station, and gave a sort of convincing smile to the trainer before taking the test.

Phoenix looked sideways at Lilith. "Are you following me?" he asked jokingly, trying to figure out whether the berry he held was a blueberry or not. "Do you go by Lilith usually, or do you have a nickname? Like Lil. Or Lily. Lily would fit you." He glanced around to see if Clove was around, just in case she wanted to creep around and follow Lilith. 

She jumpped back slightly, unaware he was there. "Um, no. Just Lilith. But thank you." She suddenly felt a wave of awkwardness, considering the fact that his survival was  her death she wasn't going to take kindly to anyone right now. "Maybe i'll come back later." She placed down the few berries she had picked up and turned around.

Donald smirked as he lanched himself at Will. He threw his arms went for his head as his knee came up. He bashed his knee into Wills torso and gripped him into a head lock. "Come on eleven. You are better than that." he smirked as he made fun of him.

Phoenix sighed, shaking his head. He had wanted to make friends, that way when he died, he could say he had some. Well, not everyone has that thought process. He finally decided the berry was unsafe to eat, and put it down. He was wrong, of course. He shook his head again, then went back over to the knife throwing station. He picked up four, put two in each hand, and threw them. Three of them were fatal, one hit the dummy's arm.

L i l i t h -Her eyes flittered around from station to station, finally deciding to take her chances on The Gauntlet. Taking her strides slowly she looked towards the two fighting and let her mind begin to wonder. If she couldn't get her hands on a weapon, the odds would certainly not be in her favour. Lining up she stood back with an upright posture and awaited the command to begin running back and forth.

Clove

Clove pursed her lips in a smirk before turning to her comrade, Toby. After whispering in his ear quietly she turned away to look around to vast room. Plenty to do, plenty see and plenty to fight. Eventually. Bored of watching the tributes she paced over to the The Gauntlet and Lilith. Bending down to whisper in the girls ear she quietly spoke.

"Now what makes him so scared I wonder. " Standing straight she smirked and quietly retreated back 3 paces to wait her turn on the The Gauntlet

Will grunted as the other guys knee went into his torso. As he was placed in a head look and smirked, "You should know better than that." He quickly threw his arms back and snagged district 6's shirt. He thrashed he head down and pulled his arms back over slamming him onto his back with a thud. He then dropped as his arm went across the others midsection. He felt like he had more to lose, and the other seemed just to be making a joke of him.
